Lenalidomide inhibits proliferation and induces apoptosis of certain hematopoietic tumor cells, including multiple myeloma, mantle cell lymphoma, and del (5q) myelodysplastic syndromes in vitro. This drug is sold under the brand name Revlimid. Lenalidomide comes as capsules in 5 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg and 25 mg for oral administration. The active ingredient in the capsules is Lenalidomide with inactive ingredients lactose anhydrous, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, and magnesium stearate.
