eep brain stimulation involves implanting electrodes inside certain regions of your brain. Those electrodes produce electric impulses that regulate extraordinary impulses. Or, the electrical impulses can affect positive cells and chemical substances inside the brain. The amount of stimulation in deep brain stimulation is controlled through a pacemaker-like device positioned beneath the skin in your higher chest. A wire that travels under your pores and skin connects this device to the electrodes to your brain.
